--for sharing your child with me for the year. I have enjoyed getting to know each of them. (I have been blessed to have gotten an opportunity to teach most of them twice!)

--for all the support you have given this year, whether it was with volunteer hours, field trips, helping your child with their assignments and numerous other ways!

--for your generosity… the gifts are overwhelming and thoughtful!

I wish you all a happy and relaxing summer!

June 17

We wrote letters to the local RCMP detachment last week, o thanking them for all the work they do. The students wrote from the heart and drew wonderful pictures. I sent it with a parent in our school who works for the Surrey detachment and he thanked us. Yesterday, I got a call from a Sergeant thanking us for the letters. They are so appreciative to receive them.

We met with our pen pals today and in spite of the clouds, we had a great time at the park. Thank you to the parents who took the time to be with us|.

Tomorrow is fun day! WooHoo! Treasure Island is the theme. If your child does not have a costume to wear, we encourage them to wear their team colours. Come on out and join us! It should be a great time!

Welcome to June! Today marked 15 1/2 more days of school!  WOW! We are now wrapping up units and doing a lot of review to end off our year. Some of our students are now handwriting in their daily work. We are comfortable with multiplication and touched on division. We are writing detailed sentences and paragraphs. It is amazing to see their growth!

Good luck to our track participants on their final day at the C.I.S.V.A meet tomorrow!
